Sara's
Oasis has a large studio
and art making workshop which
is available for those who wish
to work on their own or who would
appreciate an opportunity to learn
a new skill such as metal working,
enameling, painting or numerous
other arts and crafts. There are
a variety of tools available,
with supervised use, such as metal
and wood working tools,
band saw, grinders, drill press,
rolling mill, enameling kiln,
gas torch, dying materials....to
name a few. You might want to
schedule some time during your
stay to experiment and play.

sculpture or?) using
forging, rolling, etching, stamping,
folding, soldering and enameling.

Highlights:
Sara is a credentialed art teacher
who has experience in creating
with technology (film, video,
computers), and a wide variety
of art and craft materials (wood,
metal, tempra, acryllic, dyes,
fabric, pastels, water color,
ceramics, oil sticks). Sara
has worked successfully with
adults, young adults, and children
in and out of school settings.

etching materials, pitch pot, sewing
machine, serger, hand sewing and
dying materials and tools.
Library:
Participants are welcome
to use the library of art and craft
books available in the studio, and
may make arrangements to check out
the materials as well.
Rates:
Ms.
Schomp receives $50. per 2 hour
session for teaching/facilitating.
There is a materials fee for
some items, such as copper and silver.
